The Pledge

For a while now, Katie Lee has been saying the pledge. She will only say it when she is in the mood. Last night happened to be one of those nights and I got it on tape. I think she's doing a great job. I am just amazed by all that she can say and do.

I've never heard the pledge said so sweetly in all my life! I'm just in love with that little girl!

Precious!! Carmen learned it at preschool. The other day we were at a store and they had those flags that you hold that are about 2 feet tall. She was holding it and saying the pledge in line...then put it up. Before we finished checking out, the man behind us handed her the flag and told her it was hers...that she deserved it for saying the pledge. He bought it for her! I thought that was very nice!

Love it! Momma taught Ava to say the pledge over a year ago! And there is nothing as sweet! I love to hear there sweet little voices saying something so big! Every time we see a flag Ava has to say the pledge. Way to go Katie Lee!

I meant to include this in my comment: Momma also taught Ava that Betsy Ross made the first flag & named it "Old Glory." If you haven't already taught that to Katie Lee, that is some neat trivia that impresses people when a little one knows it!
