Spring Break Fun

We had a wonderful low key kind of spring break. We spent the week at home just playing and having fun.

Katie Lee wanted to go to the new library in town.  She was excited.
Spent some time with this little cutie
and theses little monkeys
and a kangaroo

at the Harmony Park Safari.
Daniel challenged his daddy to a John Deere race.

Daniel worked on his hand writing.
We did a little shopping.
And finally enjoyed a morning at the market in down town Elkmont.
Now for the count down to summer.

Birthdays and cuteness

We wrapped March up with two big birthday parties. We celebrated Mother's birthday with a delicious supper at Kathryn's house.  We are so lucky to have such a wonderful mother and grammie.
We also celebrated Uncle Virg's 92nd birthday with his favorite--ribs at Ruby Tuesday.
Spring is beginning but the end of March was still a little chilly.  This little cutie was sporting his cute little bowtie and big boy clothes.  Isn't he a doll.

Love these two sweeties.

Katie Lee looks adorable in her new spring outfit too. Such a sweetie inside and out.

Easter Egg Hunt

I hosted an Easter lunch and egg hunt for my aunts and cousins and their little ones. It is one of my favorite gatherings.  This year I used blue and white as my table theme thanks to finding the prettiest blue egg napkins.

The kids table was lots of fun and had bunnies for them to color.

Soon it was time for the egg hunt.  It may have been the coolest hunt we have ever had but they did not seem to mind.

My cousins and all of our littles.

Easter 2015

The littles got up and had to hunt for their Easter baskets. They were very excited about their treats and especially about their new Bibles.
After church we had dinner at Mother and Daddy's.  Best friends.
We colored eggs.
Favorite grandparents.
Our little family.
The egg hunt was so fun to watch.

My sweet family.
