Christmas Tour- Part 2-- Children's rooms

Today's tour is probably my favorite rooms in our home. The kids rooms!!  They seem to express their personalities and are just fun.  (Warning the lighting is not the best.  Much cuter in person. )

First up is Katie Lee's room.  She got a new bed back in the summer.  Transitioning into a big girl room is lots of fun especially when she likes preppy colors.

Katie Lee decorated her tree this year and did not want any help from me other than lights.
She is using her little dressing table as a desk which works perfectly.

She also has a piano with a picture collage above it, and a tent that she using as a reading nook.

Daniel's room is all little boy.

Douglas, his favorite puppy, got a little Christmas touch with a ribbon.

Love this red chest. I bought it from my uncle, who buys and sells antiques, before Daniel was born.  Part of his ever growing Lego collection fits right under it.

Next will be our master bedroom and kitchen.

Christmas 2017-- Dining and Living Room Tour

Since it has been over a year since I last blogged I will be working backwards to catch up. Goal for 2018 is to stay on top of this better. Not sure if anyone will read it but it has become my way of documenting our life and I will want this one day I am sure.

AnYwAY!! I am starting with the first part of my Christmas Tour.

This is our foyer entry way.  I kept it rather simple by only adding the sleigh with greenery from our yard, Santa, and a new picture.  I love how it looks.  We just had most of our house painted Mindful Gray and I have been very pleased with this calming color.  I am slowing changing a few things out for new items.

To the right of the foyer is our dining room.

From our foyer is our family room/living room.
This tree is my favorite because it is full of ornaments that I have picked up on family vacations, given to us by friends, or represents some special part of our little family.  They all have a story to tell.

Pictures with Santa each year fill our case with lots of fun memories.

This little basket I pulled from upstairs with all of our Christmas books to enjoy while we are out for Christmas break.

Up next is the kids' bedrooms.
