Donnie is 40!!!

We were excited to celebrate Donnie turning the big 4-0 with a trip Memphis to the Bass Pro Shop store and hotel.

The view from the roof of the pyramid was amazing.

Our room was wonderful with a rustic decor.  They even had a special birthday gift for Donnie waiting on him when we arrived.

We also visited the Memphis Zoo which may be the best zoo I've visited.

We also celebrated with our family with dinner and his favorite cake.

For his table, I added his favorite thing--Duck hunting. I love how it turned out.

Caroline Turns 2

This little cute baby doll turned two with the sweetest baby doll party.  As always Kathryn made her party extra special.

September 2016

September was a busy month full of school, volleyball, homework, and family.

August 2016

August was full of birthdays and school starting.

Katie Lee celebrated her 9th birthday with a slumber party with lots of friends.

Went to the kiddie carnival.
Daniel started preschool!!

Katie Lee started 4th grade.

July 2016

So I am way to far behind on our family blog but since it is my way of keeping up with what has happened I want to get caught up and do a better job of having it recorded for our little family.

We had a fun night with church friends.  This is Daddy playing one of the games.
We celebrated Father's Day with our favorite daddies.

Katie Lee started playing volleyball and she loved it.  She made great improvements and by the end of the summer she was doing pretty well and was ready for fall volleyball with her ABS team.

We spent lots of time playing with Langdon and Caroline.
Donnie and I went to see Wicked for our anniversary.  It was wonderful.
Daniel took swimming lessons and was doing an awesome job.  By the end of the week he was swimming underwater by himself.

Master Bedroom Tour

Today I am linking up with Kelly's Korner Everyday Real Life Home Tour.

Welcome to our bedroom.  This is the few from our master bath.  Our bedroom suite was one of the first purchases when we got married 13 years ago and I still love the classic look of it.  The hope chest at the foot was a graduation gift when I finished high school.

The other side of our room is a dresser, TV armoire, and a chair that has been in several rooms of our home.
This is the few as you walk into our room.  Our windows are on the back porch and I love how the rockers are seen through the windows.
I had the frame built above our bed and painted it.  I added burlap background and our monogram along with our wedding year.  I have a lite duvet on the bed with a heavier comforter at the foot for the summer and swap it out for the winter.
