Love These Two

I love how my two little ones are really loving playing together here lately. Katie Lee is such a great big sister and Daniel is learning so much from her. Last night, she was helping him walk. He thought it was so funny that she was walking with him.
They about lost it here, but she was so sweet saying you can do it little buddy. I love how she calls him Buddy.
While I was feeding Daniel last night, Katie Lee was doing her homework. When she finished she wanted some more. I told her to write as many numbers as she could. I really had no idea how many she could write, but I knew she could count over 100. To my surprise and I think hers too, she wrote to 100. She was so excited. She just amazes me how much she is learning. I am so proud of how great she is doing in school. Her reading and writing is awesome too. I love seeing her little books she makes and listening to her read.
Daniel is growing so fast and learning so much too. He is such a sweet baby. He was eating a Belvita cookie and loving it as you can see.

Happy Thanksgiving

This is my Thanksgiving table that I thought I would share before I took it down for Chirstmas. No Thanksgiving meal was served on this table. HA We had our traditional breakfast at Mother and Daddy's. It was delicious.
I am so thankful for these two little ones.
Best buddies!!
All dressed up for Aunt Mary's. The McNatt family dining was Thursday night. Boy, can my aunts cook. Yummy!!
Aunt Mary had a special table set for the little girls. They loved it.
The little ones spent their time explorer Aunt Mary's pretties.
Hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving.

Art Show in Downtown Elkmont

A few weekends ago, we went to Elkmont's First Art and Craft Show. I was proud of our little towns show. I thought it turned out really good for the first one and I hope that they are able to do this again. The red caboose by the old train depot downtown.
Daniel took in the sites.
It was a great day to be out.
Katie Lee loved making crafts that they had set up for the kids. I think she would have stayed there all day.

Long Weekend

Last weekend, we enjoyed a much needed three day weekend. Oh how I have missed fall break this year. Katie Lee was so excited to spend the weekend at home and that is just what we did. She has been in school for about 60 days with only 1 day off. That is pretty big since she has never had to get up and go everyday of the week in her whole little life. We played, made crafts, and baked. I so loved being at home and really wishes that we could be home more often.
Daniel loved being home with us too even if he was sick. He was so happy playing with Katie Lee.

We did venture out to Aunt Kitty's for pizza. These two little buddies are so much fun watching play together. I hope they are always best of friends and as close as brothers.

I Round Up....

Tuesday, I celebrated my 35th birthday. That's right I round up to the big 4-0!! HA HA I am really not even worried about that or the fact that I am half way to 70 which was what Zeb tells me. :) Anyway, I had a great birthday. Mother had my favorite supper with yummy lemon cake. I am so lucky to have such a great life with a wonderful family.

More Halloween

Our one and only trick-or-treater this year was the cutest little mouse ever. He answers to the name Langdon and he was adorable.
I also made mummy juice boxes for Katie Lee "Fall Snack."
