Storytime Halloween Party

Wednesday was Katie Lee's story time at the Elkmont Depot. She looks forward to this each week. She has really learned a lot from going over the last couple months. She can even say the Pledge of Allegiance. This week was very special at Storytime because they were going to have a Halloween Party. Katie Lee talked about it all week. She was so excited to tell me about it when I got home on Wednesday.

Fall Festival

Saturday afternoon, Grammie took Katie Lee to Tanner's Fall Festival to see Aunt Kitty and play some games while I went shopping and Donnie watched the football game. When they came home, Katie Lee was so excited about all of her goodies that she won.

Going to Price's

Last week, Grammie and Katie Lee spent a couple of days with Price. Katie Lee had a great time and I think it was good for Price too. She told me that they played and she pushed him around in his wheelchair. They also played outside some and Price could "keep me safe," she said. I thought that was pretty cute. She was a big help to him with his shoes and leg brace before they went to the grocery store.

Product Recommendation

Hi All, I am still here, but my home computer is still not working correctly. It has so major issues and I will probably have to get a new one very soon. I have so many pictures and posts. We have been super busy with the move and selling our house. I hope our new house will begin soon and I can start posting about it too.
Today, I just have a product to brag on. MEAN GREEN.
This stuff is great! Donnie got some to tackle one of the bathrooms at our new house. That bathroom is hopeless; however, I did use it in another bathroom and it worked wonders on the tile. You know that old 4 inch tile that people use to use in those lovely shades of mint green, pink, or blue. Well, we have mint green. :) I had mopped it several times with Clorox and the grout was still gross. MEAN GREEN came to the rescue. I now have much whiter grout between the each green tile.

One Sick Computer

Hi All! I cannot believe that I have not posted anything in over a week. I have a ton of pictures but I have a sick computer at home. We have moved into our rental house and the sell of our house closes Friday if all goes as planned. My fall break was spent moving. I will post all about that when I can add the pictures.
Back to our sick computer. My daddy is working to fix whatever the problem is. Katie Lee has been quite concerned about it being sick. She really wants to play "PBS KIDS." Last night as we were tucking her into bed and she was saying her prayers, she was praying for the sick and added that our "sick computer get better soon." Oh the genuine pure heart of a two year old.

Fiddlers Fun

Friday after school, I met Kathryn, Mother, and Katie Lee to head to the Fiddler's Convention in Athens. If you have never been, you really should go. As soon as we got inside we see Jessica and Julianna. Katie Lee loved the pumpkin and kitty cat that was painted on Julianna's face. That was exactly what Katie Lee wanted too. We start looking at all of the crafts and Katie Lee starts looking for someone to paint her face. Finally we find the face painter. Katie Lee sat unbelievably still and had her masterpieces. She was super excited.

After getting her face painted we saw Jake and Hannah. They were excited to see each other.
Had to try out buck dancing.

Ran around with Allie.

We ended out night with some yummy food. It is just something fried outside. I would love to have a sample of one of everything there. We settled for rib-eyed sandwiched and fried potato rings.

Cooler Weather= New Shoes

Well, the mornings this week have been a bit cooler which means my favorite time of the year is here---FALL!! As most of you know, Katie Lee has been super attached to her Dora flip flops all summer. I have been able to get her to just wear them in the car and then put on her real shoes when we get to our destination. I was not sure what I was going to do this fall and winter when she would need her piggy toes covered. Wear socks with flops of course not!! Well, Monday night we were at Wal-Mart looking in the shoes for some new play shoes and she spotted them!!!
Princess Boot House shoes.
She was super excited over them and I caved in and got them for her. I did however, tell her that she could only wear them around the house.

Here she is in her princess boots with wand and crown giving her princess wave.
