Master Bedroom Tour

Today I am linking up with Kelly's Korner Everyday Real Life Home Tour.

Welcome to our bedroom.  This is the few from our master bath.  Our bedroom suite was one of the first purchases when we got married 13 years ago and I still love the classic look of it.  The hope chest at the foot was a graduation gift when I finished high school.

The other side of our room is a dresser, TV armoire, and a chair that has been in several rooms of our home.
This is the few as you walk into our room.  Our windows are on the back porch and I love how the rockers are seen through the windows.
I had the frame built above our bed and painted it.  I added burlap background and our monogram along with our wedding year.  I have a lite duvet on the bed with a heavier comforter at the foot for the summer and swap it out for the winter.

Mobile

Before heading home we spent one night in Mobile. That was our first time exploring the city. Even though we just saw a small part of it, we had a great time and hope to go back at another time.

We ate at Spot of Tea for lunch which was very yummy and walked across the street to Cathedral Square.
After lunch we visited the children's museum.  It was awesome!

We also checked out Fort Conde'.
Finally we visited the USS Alabama.  That was a very neat place.

We ended out night touring downtown and eating a delicious meal.  The next morning we walked down to Panini Pete's for beignets for breakfast.
