Happy Birthday Lilllian

A couple weeks ago, Katie Lee and I attended Lillian's fourth birthday party. I think that all of the princesses had a ball.

Ornament Swap

Earlier this month, I hosted our ornament swap with the girls from church. I always look forward to spending time with them. I had so much fun. We had the best foods and pretty ornaments.

Cookie Swap 2010

Friday night, Mother, Kathryn, Katie Lee, and I had our traditional cookie swap. It began with a great soup supper. I love soup in the winter and it is always better when Mother makes it.

After supper it was time for the swap. All of the cookies were wonderful this year.

I also took everyone an ornament to remember this year's swap.
I love this picture.

Katie Lee showing off her pretzel kisses that she made. I think she ate at least a pound or two of sugar that night.

Time for Baking

Last week, Katie Lee and I baked cookies for our cookie swap at Mother's. Check back tomorrow for more about our swap. Katie Lee and I really loved baking this year. We loved it some much that we did it three times to get it right, or to figure out that the flour was no good. Anyway, with the third time being the charm our cookies where delicious.

Aunt/Cousin Ornament Swap

It has been a tradition for the last several years that Kathryn or I have our aunts and cousins over for an ornament swap and lots of yummy food. Kathryn had the party again this year. I wish I had taken the time to take some pictures of her home. She really out did herself this year especially since she is pregnant. Her home looked like something out of a magazine.
We had a wonderful time and was sad that several people were sick and not able to come. Katie Lee and Addie Mae had so much fun playing together and helping with passing out the ornaments for the dirty Christmas swap.

House Guest

We have a visitor staying with us this month. He is Johnson Obey, the Elf on the Shelf. Katie Lee is really loving this and the hunt for him each morning is fun. I am glad that even Donnie is getting into the fun of this.

Princesses On Ice

Katie Lee and I along with Amanda and Lillian went to see Princess on Ice last weekend. The girls loved it.

I think Katie Lee's favorite part was this. HA
Ready for the show to begin.
She really loved watching it all. It was just so colorful and pretty.
The best part was spending time with her friend.

Deck the Halls

Christmas is in full swing around here. Our trees are up and everything is ready for Christmas.

Katie Lee was a big help this year decorating the trees.

Until I dropped an ornament and she got upset.
After that, she decided to just do the chicken dance in the boxes.
The finished tree.

I love our tree because every ornament has a special story behind it.
Katie Lee's tree turned out cute too.

Thanksgiving 2010

This year we had a wonderful time with family at Thanksgiving. Thursday morning, we had a big breakfast at mother and daddy's. (Forgot to take any pictures.) That night we had the McNatt side of the family at Aunt Mary's. Finally on Saturday night we had the Smith family at my aunt Brenda's. This one turned out very short for us because Katie Lee got sick.

The BINGO prizes. This year Aunt Mary just let us shop.

We had visits from our favorite new neighbors.
