But it was way too HOT on her feet, so she ran away.
I did manage to get a couple of cute "beach" pictures this year
She had rather hang out in the shade.
We did spend some time playing in the sand
Well, some of us played.
Katie Lee quickly got over her fear of the water once we got in the pool and she could touch the bottom. She did GREAT!! She became super brave again and did not want to wear her floaties because she could not get under water deep enough with them on. :)

We rode lots of rides at Pier Park.
We did lots of people watching.
Ate lots and
lots of ice cream. (Donnie and Katie Lee's nightly routine.)
Got super cute t-shirts.
We went to Shipwreck Island one day.
The slides were Katie Lee's favorite part.
She soon got adventurous and went down head first.
We ate lots of yummy food.
Then fell asleep while everyone finished.
Watched beautiful sunset
but finally it was time to say good-bye.

Looks like y'all had a great time. I'm so glad Katie Lee enjoyed the water. I love the picture of you and her together on the ride at Pier Park. I'm looking forward to our vacation now..hope the oil holds off!
Glad that yall had a great trip! Lillian kept saying in every picture that she saw, "Um, Katie Lee and I can go to the beach together one day."
Looks like you guys had an awesome time! Pier Park has gotten much better than the last time we were there. :)
