Mobile

Before heading home we spent one night in Mobile. That was our first time exploring the city. Even though we just saw a small part of it, we had a great time and hope to go back at another time.

We ate at Spot of Tea for lunch which was very yummy and walked across the street to Cathedral Square.
After lunch we visited the children's museum.  It was awesome!

We also checked out Fort Conde'.
Finally we visited the USS Alabama.  That was a very neat place.

We ended out night touring downtown and eating a delicious meal.  The next morning we walked down to Panini Pete's for beignets for breakfast.

Fort Morgan and a Ferry Ride

To continue our Alabama tour, we visited Fort Morgan. It was such a neat experience.

On our last day, we rode the ferry from Fort Morgan over to Dauphin Island and then drove back to Mobile.  They loved the ferry.

Beach Pictures

I cannot go to the beach without taking beach pictures of the littles. They are growing up way too fast.

Relaxing in the Sun

We spent several days on the beach loving every minute of it.

The first day the water was very rough with waves that I have never seen before in the gulf.  This was perfect for Katie Lee.  She loved riding the waves.

Daniel preferred the calmness of the water pools on the beach.  He was very content playing in the sand by himself.

Another day, Donnie several starfish at the shoreline.  We have never seen starfish like this before.

Back to riding the waves for Katie Lee.

Loved watching these cuties have fun.

I also loved relaxing on the beach with my hubby.
