Monday started out like a normal day with Katie Lee playing with a role of toilet paper. Unfortunately this simple day changed late that afternoon. We got a call from the assisted living place telling us that Virg. had fallen. Luckily, Mother was here so I left Katie Lee with her and headed to the hospital. Virg. fell and broke his hip. He had surgery on Tuesday. On Thursday I spent the day at the hospital with him. Today, he was able to move to rehab. We had wanted him to go to Health South, but he was not physically able to handle their rehab. He is in one here in town.Hopefully, he will be back to getting around soon and be able to return to Limestone Manner.
Katie Lee has had a great time spending it with Grammie, Aunt Kitty, and the Sutton's. Poor Mary Kaitlyn. I believe Katie Lee about wore her out on Tuesday. She wanted Mary Kaitlyn to do everything for her. Katie Lee also got a treat watching Mary Kaitlyn play volley ball.
On Wednesday, we met Paige and Kendall for lunch and some shopping. It was great and I hope that we can do it again soon.
Tonight, we met Brad, Laura, and James for supper at the Mexican restaurant on the square and then off to the Kiddie Carnival. The girls really liked it. We were not sure that either one of them would even ride anything. By far, the cars were their favorite. We had a wonderful time with them.

Wow, that was a busy week! Hope Uncle Virg has a speedy recovery.
Sounds like a very busy week. I hope Virgil gets to feeling better soon. The carnival looked fun for the girls!
wow! I can't believe how big Katie Lee is getting. Love the carnival pics. Jasper always loved those little cars when he was her age. We really need to take Sawyer for his first time.
