Date Night
Yesterday, Donnie and I had date day. We dropped Katie Lee off at Mother's around 9:00. Then we came back home for some house cleaning. Donnie worked all day on our much neglected garage. It looks so good. I think that we may be able to get 2 cars in it now. He has lots of tools, plus a huge lawn mower, a tiller, plus numerous other big things so a 2nd car usually gets left outside. Late that afternoon, we got ready and headed to Huntsville. We had 7:30 dinner reservations at the Melting Pot. I was so excited because both of the other times we had plans to go something would come up and the groups never got to go. Anyway, it was great. They sat us in the little cozy nook for two. We had a cheese fondue first which was wonderful (bread and cheese is always good). Next came the salad. Since Donnie doesn't eat salad I got to pick out two. One was a caprase and the other was Caesar. The caesar was the best. Then the entree was a medley of meats and vegetables. Finally the BEST part dessert!!! We got the cookies and cream pot. By far the dessert was the best. Who knew that three hours of dinner could be so fun!

Looks like you two had a wonderful night out. I haven't been to that restaurant yet. It sounds delicious though.
I'm glad that you and Donnie had a great date night. I am sure that Katie Lee had a bunch of fun too!

You look so pretty in that picture! I'd like to go, but I don't think Zeb would be up for 3 hours of dip! :) Glad y'all had fun.
Isn't it heavenly! I love the melting pot. That was my birthday date this year! Glad you had a night out :)
