This past weekend was full of Easter festivities. We had so much fun. Saturday morning we headed over to the Moss' for an Easter egg hunt with friends from church. I think that all of the kids had so much fun!
An attempt to capture a picture of everyone. HA HA
Katie Lee loved finding eggs!
Donnie came along to help Chris with the tables and hiding the eggs.
Sunday morning, Katie Lee woke up before 7 which is rare for her because she was ready to open her Easter basket. (On a side note, it is amazing all I got done because we were up early. We usually sleep and then rush. HA HA ) She was so excited and had to lay everything out and try on her new rain boots.

Attempt to have a family picture.
Donnie and Katie Lee's picture turned out cute.
Kind of getting silly with the pictures by the time it came to our pictures.
After church, Katie Lee hunted eggs at Mother and Daddy's house. She really had to hunt for these eggs. I got so tickled at how she would miss the ones right in front of her but could find ones hidden better.
Sunday night we had Easter supper at Mother and Daddy's. Boy was it good!! Katie Lee and Langdon all dressed in their Easter frocks.

This and That
Well, my spring break is officially over. I am always so sad to have to go back after a break. I love being home with Katie Lee. I am sure that the next 30 days will fly by. RIGHT?
Since Easter is next week, I thought that I would show our dining room table set for Easter. I used just a few things that I already had, but I did add these turquoise bunnies to each place setting.
Other randomness, I found out how hard it was to take two kids pictures at the same time. Katie Lee informed me as I was trying to take their pictures together that she was not going to cooperate with me. Well, here is proof she meant what she said. Look at Langdon all smiles and Katie Lee with her head turned. Is he not just adorable with that cute smile.
There is plenty of love and attention going around.

Busy Day
Katie Lee and I had a super busy day today.
First off, we had lunch with this handsome little one. It was Langdon first time out to eat, and he was perfect.
After lunch with Grammie, Aunt Kitty, and Langdon, Katie Lee and I headed to Madison to Pottery by You. I read on a blog last year about painted eggs to keep each year. I decided this was a tradition that I would like to begin with Katie Lee. SHE LOVED IT!!
After she finished her egg, we paint a salad plate.
It may not be perfect, but it is perfect for us.
We ended our day playing outside.
I am LOVING spring break!!!

Finally!!!
Book Fair Carnival
Last night, Katie Lee and I headed back over to school to visit the Book Fair and carnival. Mrs. Owen, our media specialist, did a great job putting all of this together. Katie Lee was so excited to pick out a new book. She and Grammie had visited Aunt Kitty and Langdon earlier yesterday and Aunt Kitty gave her some money for the book fair, and then as we were leaving Grammie and Poppie's, he gave her some too. She was set.
Playing games and winning prizes.
By the end of the evening, she had two new books, face painted, a balloon animal and candy.

Katie Lee-ism's
Here lately you never know what Katie Lee is going to say next. She really cracks me up.
If she sees a police car---"Mommy, who is getting incarcerated."
She asked Poppie what time Wal-Mart closed and he told her that they stay open all night. Her response, " so they must be nocturnal, like bats."
We were talking about all of the new babies coming into the family, Kathryn, Laura, and Paige. She says, "I think we have about babied out."
A few weeks ago, we were grocery shopping and she spotted pink milk. She says, "Mommy, we need to get some of this pink milk because it is very fashionable this year."
Driving down the road, "Mommy turn the radio down, I cannot work under these conditions."
If she likes how you look, she will say, "you look very debonair. "
She was making crafts with Grammie. She said, "Grammie keep this because it is an heirloom."
If something breaks---"I guess we will have to call the caplumber."
She ate chocolate and I told her that it looked like she had eaten mud. Her response, "Positively not"
When Aunt Kitty had Langdon and she and mother had been up to their house helping out, she informed me that if we had 20 babies we would need lots of assistance.
