Today we celebrated the retirement of Mrs. Raby. I have had the pleasure of working with her at Harvest since I have been there. She is a wonderful person and I will truly miss seeing her everyday.

A Picture Perfect Mother's Day...

with absolutely no pictures. HA! Sunday we celebrated Mother's day. I was greeted early that morning with hugs and kisses from the sweetest little girl around. She also gave me a Osborne's bag along with a huge Happy Mother's Day. She and her daddy had plotted together and got me a pretty necklace and earrings. We all spent the day together with church and lunch. Then we worked over at our new house before returning to church that night. We ended the night with supper and celebrating with my mother and family. It was the perfect day! I thank God for having such a wonderful husband and little girl.

Mother's Day Craft

Today, my kiddos at school made Mother's Day gifts. Over the years I have had students make all kids of things. This year I found these cute and simple recipe holders online and decided that is what we would make. They also wrote their favorite recipe and then a recipe for a great mom. They really turned out cute. This is a sample but the ones that they made looked much cuter with their color combinations.

I Love You

Yesterday, I came home from work and found Katie Lee and Grammie playing outside. Katie Lee is usually taking a nap at this time, but didn't get one. As soon as I pulled into the drive, I could see some big excitement coming from the carport. Katie Lee ran to me as soon as the car stopped just a grinning holding a pink card. She jumped in my arms, gave me a big hug and kiss and told me Happy Mother's Day. She was so proud of the beautiful card that she had picked out for me earlier that morning at the store all by herself. She told me it says, "I love you and I drew a sun on it and my name." Sure enough it did. It was the sweetest thing because she was so proud of it.

I don't even have enough words in me to tell how crazy I am about her and how much I love her. I am constantly amazed by her.

Mother's Day Comes Early

Yesterday, we treated Grammie to lunch for Mother's Day. We have done this for the last few years. (We really needed an excuse to get together for lunch and a day of shopping. HA) We hope Mother enjoyed it. She is really the best Mother and Grammie.

Ready to Jump

As soon as we got to the mall, Katie Lee spotted the jumping thing. She wanted to do it, so after the party I let her jump. You had to weigh 30 pounds so she was good with one pound over. I ask the lady to keep it real low and easy. Katie Lee was all set and had so much fun. She would do whatever the big girl next to her did.

Build A Bear Birthday Party

Friday night, we headed to Huntsville to Build A Bear for Dylan and Kaylee's Third Birthday party. They had so much fun and it was a really great place to have a party.
