You Are My Sunshine Baby Shower

We recently had a baby shower for my cousin Emily who is expecting a baby girl in a few weeks.

We dd a You are My Sunshine them with simple pink, yellow and white color theme.

Slumber Party

Last weekend, Kathryn and I had an impromptu slumber party with the kids.  They thought they would all sleep in the floor in the living room.

We pulled out lots of blankets for them.  They LOVED it.

Then it was time to go to sleep.  Sounds easy and perfect...right.

Reality.
The boys could not get settled and Katie Lee was sleepy so she went to her bed to sleep.  Caroline woke up and took a little bit to go back to sleep.  Langdon and Kathryn slept in our bed.  Daniel fell asleep on me on the couch.  I laid him on the floor where he slept the rest of the night.  I slept on the couch.  It was all great.

The next morning Kathryn made yummy French toast.  The littles played most of the day until late afternoon.
