Happy Thanksgiving

Hope all are having a very happy Thanksgiving with family today. We are. We have so much to be thankful for today and everyday. God has truly blessed our family.

I got a friendship award from Erica. Unfortunately I cannot figure out how to the the picture to post. Maybe Erica can send me the directions. Anyway,

Family Reading Night

We had Family Reading Night at school Tuesday night. Katie Lee went along with me. She had a ball. Of course, she only sat and looked at a book for maybe 2 minutes, but she loved running in the halls and visiting with everyone. She and Ayden are becoming good buddies too. Here is a pic. of the two of them. Boy, have they grown since the last time they were together.

Pancakes on Saturday Morning

I cooked pancakes Saturday morning and added chocolate chips to a few of them. Katie Lee loved them especially the chips that she picked out of the pancake.

Happy Birthday to Me

Thursday was my 31st birthday. I really can't believe that I am 31. My kids at school told me that I looked about 40 something. Maybe they just have no concept of age. Anyway, Mother cooked my favorites Thursday night for supper. She and Daddy gave me some clothes and money. Kathryn and Zeb gave a jacket. Donnie and Katie Lee gave me a Coach purse and some money. Needless to say, I had a great birthday. Thanks so much to Donnie, Katie Lee, Mother, Daddy, Kathryn, and Zeb.

Shopping Fun

Yesterday, we made a day of shopping. We went to Lebanon. I did some Christmas shopping and some for me. Katie Lee was a real trooper, so before we left, we let her play at the playground at the outlets. She had so much fun, and I think Donnie had fun playing too.

Happy Halloween

Katie Lee got to experience her first night of Trick-or-Treating. We started out about 4:30 with a trip to see Uncle Virg. and the people at the assisted living. They were all eating supper and she stopped supper when she walked in. All of those old people thought she was something. After that we visited Grammie's and Poppie's. Katie Lee got treated there with a new turtle toy. Then we were off to all of the aunts and uncles. LOTS OF GOODIES. Donnie got off early so we picked him up on our way to Ardmore for a few more stops and supper. We ended our night at Aunt Kitty's and Uncle Zeb's house around 9:15. They treated her with a pull dog toy. Needless to say she was wore out by the end and fell asleep on the way home. Luckily I had her PJ's with us, so she was good for the night. What fun!!!
